This rifle is one of approximately thirty that were imported along with M91/30s in the
1990s by Century. It is owned by Steve K. who provided the pictures and allowed them
to be used here. The rifle is a 1952 Izhevsk single shot in 7.62x54r caliber.
The unique stock has no sling slots or cut out for a magazine but otherwise it appears to
be standard M91/30 configuration. The handguard is longer to make up for the space
normally occupied by the rear sight base. The rear sight is a simple fixed blade
with no adjustments. The front action bolt holds the receiver to the stock with a
washer and the front of the trigger guard is held in place with a wood screw.
