M38 (early stock)

Note that the barrel band shoulder is closer to the rear sight base than the two carbines below.  This stock was only in production for a short time in 1939 before it was redesigned and the barrel band shoulder was moved forward to the same position (relative to the buttplate) as M91 and M91/30 stocks.
